New Zealand is renowned for its river fishing, but hidden among the landscape are stunning lakes holding truely large fish. The region offers a diverse range of stillwater fisheries, each providing exciting opportunities throughout the season.
Depending on the weather and time of year, you may encounter large browns cruising the margins, rainbows hunting terrestrials along the shoreline, or powerful fish rising from the depths.
Many of these lakes are iconic New Zealand locations and only accessible by boat, with a certified skipper.

OUR VESSEL
Our vessel is a 4.47 m Quintrex Explorer Trophy, purpose-built for versatility and performance on the water. Equipped with a Garmin Force electric motor and Garmin fish finder, it’s perfectly set up for fly fishing lakes, rivers or salt flats. The raised casting deck provides an ideal platform for sight-fishing to cruising fish, while the adjustable seating system can be positioned in five different locations, making it easy to adapt whether you’re drifting or anchored.
